bad/moany/medical things:

• so my surgery was a week yesterday and rather than being back in canterbury like i was expecting, i’m still at home. don’t get my wrong my parents have been brilliant and there’s no way i could be looking after myself in the state i’m in at the moment. 
• i have little to know energy, have had chest pains and palpitations all week and am still very tender and bruised at the top of my leg where they went in, which makes moving/walking/wearing normal clothes really painful.
• i’m struggling to sleep at the moment and dreaming which i don’t usually do, so the rents have given me sleeping tablets the past couple of nights which are only making the dreams more vivid and making it harder to wake up.
• my mood’s have been all over the place, from really happy and jokey to crying for no reason. mama thinks this is the anesthetic.
• i have left ALL of my tv boxsets and the harddrive james gave me for christmas in canterbury so i’m BORED and i also left the earrings and shoes i need for my date dress outfit, so i probably can’t wear it now.
• my skin is my number one problem at the moment. after researching online i’ve found it’s not uncommon for patients to experience dry skin but for me it’s bizarre. i’ve always had kinda combination skin which leaned more towards oily but now the skin on my face and body is dry to the point of cracking and bleeding and is pretty painful to the touch. this could be due to the anesthetic or the two courses of strong antibiotics that i’ve just finished.

anyway that’s the medical update now for some nice things

• my aunty came at the weekend to look after me and nana while the rents were away. she was lovely and made me fried egg butties and loads of tea and we watched crap saturday night telly.
• monday, after feeling useless and teary on sunday night, mama took me to ealing in nana’s wheel chair. we picked up some bits and pieces for james and mama got her new iphone on t-mobile so i can actually call her (she had a crap phone and O2 gets no signal in our street)
• tuesday i caved and went to get my iphone too! she’s white and called trixie and i’m obsessed :D
• yesterday katie came round for tea/coffee, brought me some chewits strawberry laces (the greatest), some temporary tattoos because i was jealous of alice and em planning theres and a fake piercing because i can’t get any for six months (BABE). anyway mamanana were going to ikea so we tagged along and had meatballs and katie and i sat in the cafe while MN went round BUT i did walk all downstairs without everything hurting too much and without getting too out of breath :)
• today i skyped the girls back home which was so nice, i’ve missed them loads and it was good to catch up. for the rest of the day i’m gonna push myself: tidy my room, make/wrap james’ presents and pack :)
• then tomorrow i’m being driven up to bucks for early valentines day and james’ birthday! we’re going to see chronicle, going to dinner and snuggling down with lots of presents, lots of food and lots of cuddles all weekend :)
